“Runners of the Nish”

His BIO:

Alex Cyr is an Abram Village, PEI native and a Master's student of Journalism and Writing at the University of Windsor. Alex earned his Bachelor's degree at St. FX University, where he ran cross country and track and field. During his years in University, Alex broke multiple PEI records and won the Atlantic University Sport conference track and field championship. In his spare time, he began documenting his team's progress throughout his senior cross-country season. In July 2018, he published the story of his team's journey in a book titled "Runners of the Nish: A Season in the Sun, Rain, Hail and Hell. The book has ranked in the top 10 running books on Amazon and has been the best selling title in the Friesen Press bookstore. Alex is back home on PEI for the holidays.
