Club Services

An effective, smoothly run and happy club is better equipped to serve the community

Club Services operate on two fronts, club administration and club engagement.

It takes many hands to operate the inner mechanisms of a Rotary Club. The administration side entails organising our club meetings, addressing reporting requirements with Rotary International, managing club records and archives and promoting our public image.

Keeping our members engaged is a priority as "an effective Rotary Club is one where there is good fellowship among its members." Our Fellowship Committee fosters the engagement and wellbeing of our members with fun social events. Birthdays and anniversaries are also never forgotten thanks to the diligence of our Health & Happiness Committee.

Club activities and events

Some of our activities have become an annual tradition over the years, like the Corn Boil and the Club Golf.

Corn Boil

A corn boil at Rotarian David Hooley's cottage has become an annual event, with high participation by our members.
It is always a well attended and fun event. Thanks David and Paulette!

Club Golf

Once or twice a year, both excellent and novice golfers in the club (and guests) get together for a game of golf, usually either at Stanhope Golf Club or at Belvedere.
