The Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty meets each Wednesday at 7:15 a.m., at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel, 75 Kent St.
Other fundraising
As a Service Club, the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty must raise funds in order to carry out it's many community and international projects. 100% of the funds that are raised from community fundraisers go directly to the projects that the club conducts.
In addition to our major fundraiser, the Business Advertising Supplement, and the QEH Golf Tournament, which raises funds for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, we also raise funds through other ways.
Coins for Eyesight
At the end of each breakfast meeting, club members throw in loose change, and as the amount builds up the funds are sent on to Operation Eyesight to provide cataract surgery to enable people to regain eyesight.
Vesey's Seeds Flower Bulbs
Vesey's Seeds is a Prince Edward Island seed distribution company with international sales. Each October the company donates boxes containing over 100 spring flower bulbs for Rotarians to buy or sell. All proceeds from this project go to the Rotary Foundation.
Thanks to Bev Simpson and John Barrett for this generous donation!
